Fortnum & Mason: Best Drinks Book award 2014

We won an award. A really heavy one, made with real gold, that many people respect and care about. How often do books on cider win prestigious awards? Especially when several of the judges are wine writers, one of whom even referred to it as:

"one of the most important drinks books of the last 20 years..."

Wow.

2 days later, I'm still quite overwhelmed (and hungover) and extremely grateful. I expect co-author Pete Brown is too. Praise must go to the team at Jacqui Small Publishing, Robin Rout and of course, all the cider producers 'from Somerset to Seattle' who put up with the constant harrasment over the last few years with patience and grace.
