I had the pleasure of some time with skip-raiding, bad-ass car driving design team Josh and Jamie from The Syrup Room. Sadly, I had less time with them than I would have liked (as is so often the case) but any chance for a catch up is a winner. I was asked to photograph them for an upcoming article about them and what they do, so they took me to a car park to show me some of their lettering work, a bike they had turned out, some logo design for a local coffee company and of course, a Mercedes from 1983.
The boys are busy on various projects for various clients and no doubt will continue to do well. I look forward to the next time we get to hang out and no doubt it'll involve more cars and more cool too. They nearly have a website, so I'll point you at the Syrup Room Instagram account for now.
